Omes 2557 is the beer par excellence on the Arlberg. Named after the local mountain, the Omeshorn, it’s expertly brewed by Clemens Walch and Martin Schnell in their own brewery in what was once Hotel Gotthard’s former bakery. A natural, pure and characterful beer, visitors can now get step-by-step insights into the brewing process. Of course, such a tour also includes tasting sessions of everything from pale ale to wheet beer. Best to allot a least an hour of time, and come hungry as the beer-tasting is accompanied by fine snacks.
