Discover the region through meetings with a culinary twist

Did you know: seminars, meetings and workshops can be wonderfully combined with culinary experiences. From wine tastings to evening meals for getting conversations flowing, here we’ve put together 15 locations to enjoy Vorarlberg through your tastebuds.

Productivity and enjoyment in the alps

In the alpine region, the southernmost tip of Vorarlberg, it’s worth taking a look at several event locations with mountain flair. To inspire hosts and participants alike, two local establishments have come up with something unique: at the Alpen.Spa.Golf.Hotel Traube in Braz, guests can indulge in exceptional culinary experiences—either in the modern, newly designed dining room or the charming, centuries-old farmhouse parlor. In autumn, visitors can savor the "Totally Wild" menu, featuring delicious dishes made from local game.

Even higher up is Rufana Alp, where exclusive rental can accommodate 360 people in this cosy and spacious alpine hut. An inspiring place to discuss, philosophise and exchange. This can all be rounded off with either a 6-course menu, a fondue or steak evening, according to the event and the tastes of participants.

Unique seminars with unforgettable catering

A short walk from the wonderful Lake Constance is the Bregenzer Salon with its in-house Petrus Café Brasserie. There’s 120 m2 of space available to use, and a stylish highlight in the 40 m2 Biedermeier room with flexible options to suit any event. There are also a handful of smaller salons, a generous terrace and a kitchen for own use. For those who prefer professional catering, look no further than Petrus downstairs which can offer pastries, coffees and teas during breaks. Lunches and dinners at events also don’t come much better than their very own Belgian-inspired cuisine, offering participants a truly memorable gastronomic experience.

Feldkirch has another highlight for seminars with a difference - Montfort das Hotel. It’s a quiet spot but nevertheless centrally located, offering various seminar rooms for all kinds of event – and catering from the on-site restaurant. A breath of fresh air in Montafon

Ideas can flow here where nature is in full bloom. With an enviable location, Hotel Montafoner Hof and Löwen Schruns offer particular attraction. Freshly cooked delights waft out of the Löwen’s “Stube” and Brasserie Leonis, while four modern conference rooms belong to the 4*S hotel. These facilities can be flexibly adjusted to each event, and the atmosphere, furnishings and gastronomy here inspire great ideas.

The same can be said for Panoramagasthof Kristberg, an inspiring location at 1425m above sea level where up to 25 participants can hold carbon-neutral meetings. The inspiration flows too through the in-house kitchen, with guests spoiled with Austrian and regional delicacies.

The world’s most beautiful cul-de-sac

Big city life feels a long way away in the calm and grounded Kleinwalsertal. Time here moves more slowly, with a traditional and sustainable lifestyle still in full flow. In practice, this means time-honoured hospitality is celebrated and regional ingredients are used with pride. A prime example is Sonnenburg, an elegantly designed hotel for mountain lovers. It’s an inspiring place for seminars of up to 10 people and all culinary needs taken care of, from the first espresso to a fine dinner.

The Travel Charme Ifen Hotel Kleinwalsertal also chose an especially beautiful spot, and they make it easy for event participants to merge gastronomical delight with seminars. Productive meetings can take place in two large seminar rooms, with breaks taken in the elegant foyer and no less than three restaurants to choose from for dinner – Theo’s, Walser Stube Carnozet or Kilian Stuba gourmet restaurant.
