In 1343, Emperor Ludwig "The Bavarian" granted permission for the construction of Neu-Ems Castle, also known as Schloss Glopper. Since then, the castle has withstood numerous counts, emperors, and occupations, all of which can be read in detail on the website. Fast forward to the present: the Waldburg-Zeil family undertook extensive renovations and, in 2018, opened Schloss Glopper as a 5-star luxury secret escape for guests from around the world. The antique rooms do not follow a traditional event or hotel interior design; instead, guests are encouraged to use and personalize them in their own way. For events, the Grand Salon and the Old Tower are available. The salon accommodates up to 40 people, while the Old Tower can host up to 80. Additionally, the courtyard garden and the terraces can be used, and exclusive services can be added. Without a doubt, this stunning setting offers the perfect backdrop for truly unique, festive events.
